TWI DTK-2 Muzzle Break First Impressions

Initial Impression

First inspection of the TWI DTK seems to show it is a very well built muzzle break

Compared the the real Zenitco DTK-2 weight is comparable, the original is 3.80oz or 108gr according to the Zenitco website and the TWI is 3.75oz or 106gr

Using a magnet it we can see the break is made of Steel like the real Zenitco DTK-2

The machining on the TWI DTK-2 is very good, all the edges are clean and precise

Finally the trades are a great addition to the muzzle break, the only concern is how quickly these could wear off

In Use

We mounted our DTK-2 onto a CYMA AK-104, it fit on with no problems with the thread nor to the locking pin which we have experienced with some other muzzle breaks. You will have to cut your inner barrel down to stop it from sticking out of the end of the break, however if you have the correct tools this is pretty simple. BB's fire through without a problem (although you may encounter some issues if you cut your barrel down, but once again given the right tools this shouldn't happen)

Conclusion
Overall the TWI DTK-2 seems to be an accurate representation of the Zenitco DTK-2, the build quality is great and the fitment simple, with pricing in Europe looking to be competitive with other AK muzzle breaks we would recommend this device.

We will hopefully post a Used And Abused review in a few months to show how the TWI DTK-2 stands up to prolonged punishment

Introduction

TEAM DESCRIPTION
Spetsgruppa U.K. is a team of dedicated Russian Airsofters, we play both Skirmish and Milsim events throughout most of the U.K.
But it does not stop at Airsoft, Spetsgruppa U.K. is a community too, team members often meet up to socialize and attend non Airsoft events. Russian Airsoft isn't a hobby, Its a way of life!

RECRUITMENT
Spetsgruppa U.K. is recruiting, to apply for membership simply send a message to our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/SpetsgruppaUK), however there are criteria that must be met:

You must have at least the beginnings of a fairly modern (late 90's onwards) FSB or MVD loadout

Members should attend a minimum of 6 games with team members per year (Extenuating circumstances such as military service can bypass this requirement)

Finally members must be physically fit enough to play endurance Milsim events

The recruitment requirements can be viewed as guidelines, if you believe you can meet most but not all the requirements then send us a message and we will see what we can sort out!
